First come, first serve, 35 sites. Pit toilets. But amazing. Empty on a Saturday in July, incredible. All other state campgrounds by the ocean area fully booked. Ocean views and sounds.
Beautiful campground on the ocean between Sea Ranch and Point Arena! Only downside is you have to bring your own water because theirs is contaminated. Maybe they should lower the fees considering, but it is literally right above the ocean with gorgeous views. Most of the sites are in the open sun but a few have good shade. This campground is first come first served, reservations can't be made online, you have to use the self register envelopes, so make sure to bring enough cash to pay your fees.
Awesome campground by the ocean. July 20 '24 and most of the spots are empty. With everything else fully booked this is a gem. it is walk up only but definitely worth the gamble!
