First time here and will not be my last. Spent the night in the lodge and skied 2 days. Room was clean and beds comfy. Staff very friendly. Food was delicious. Had breakfast at the Pinewood restaurant, supper at the Bear Den Pub. Both served exceptional food!! Highly recommend this gem of a place!

Great quality time with family and friends! Beautiful location with lots of amenities. We also enjoyed the Cascades Lookout and Lightning Lake. The resort has well maintained cabins and restaurants, but some of the amenities are outdated and needs attention/replacements. One of my friends had a small cut on his forehead due to some sharp edges on the swimming pool, we reported immediately to the front desk and the staff was able to provide some sort of first aid. Billiard tables and Table Tennis were also tired and overused.

I had the best experience at Manning Park Resort! Very relaxing ambiance, an enjoyable Loon Lagoon, soft bed, safe and secure environment, and great food! Exceptional hospitality! All their Staff are authentically friendly and very helpful. They made my rough night bearable with their immeasurable kindness. To my hero, Miss Lorie: I salute you! Thank you for saving me. You have such a big heart to help a stranger in-need like me. I will definitely come back to this wonderful place!

Our family enjoyed a four nights stay in the standard cabin for our annual pre-Christmas family vacation. The cabin was clean, the service was good and the scenery and location was beautiful. Our ski instructors were good and we enjoyed building an ice fortress around the firepit by our cabin for us and others to use. We'll be back, will anticipate that the pool, hot tub and change room area will be renovated at some point soon (fine and usable now), and we hope to check out the deluxe and premium cabins too. We enjoyed our stay at Manning Park Resort and we recommend. Also, the food and service at the Pinewoods Dining Room was very good!

Mixed impressions of this resort: On the one hand, a good location and generally beautiful public buildings made of logs. Cozy hotel lobby, nice shop and restaurant. But on the other hand, we were shocked by the old and dirty spa center and hotel rooms. In the spa center: 1) Rust is literally everywhere: the doors and locker in the locker room are so rotten that it is impossible to leave clothes in this unsanitary place, but I still took the risk and in the end I could not open the locker for 15 minutes, because the mechanism jammed due to rust. 2) In the steam room, on one of the steps for sitting, a tile fell off and they covered it with a transparent plastic mat! That is, all the sand and cement flows onto the first step. Rooms: everything was clean and basic, but 1) one lightbulb on the ceiling was flickering, 2) the TV didn't work 3) the bathroom sink faucet was leaking so much that we had to wash ourselves using the bath faucet otherwise we would have been flooded. We let the staff know about the leak but I think they knew and didn't care because the resort is in decline but the turnover is so high that they can't fix these problems - there will always be people here. Sorry, but I think the resort has enough money to not embarrass themselves and at least replace the rusty 40 year old lockers in the Lagoon. And replace the tiles in the steam room!
