As a member of the Campgrounds & RV Parks category, Manters Camp LLC is expected to offer a range of services to cater to the needs of both tent campers and RV travelers. This could include electric hookups (potentially with different amperage options), water connections, and possibly sewer hookups for a more self-contained experience. The availability of pull-through sites for larger RVs and back-in sites for various sizes is also common. Tent campers can anticipate designated camping areas, which might range from more primitive, secluded spots to areas with easier access to shared amenities. Essential services typically found at campgrounds include clean and well-maintained restrooms with showers, providing a comfortable and hygienic experience for all guests. Access to potable water sources is also a standard requirement. Depending on the size and development of Manters Camp LLC, additional services might include laundry facilities for longer stays, a dump station for RV waste disposal, and potentially a camp store offering basic necessities, snacks, and camping supplies. The presence of on-site management is also expected, providing assistance with check-in, answering questions, and ensuring a pleasant and secure environment for all visitors.
The features of Manters Camp LLC are what will likely enhance the overall camping experience and provide opportunities for recreation and relaxation. These features can vary depending on the campground's size and focus. Common features found in campgrounds include picnic tables and fire rings or grills at each campsite, creating dedicated spaces for outdoor meals and campfires. Recreational amenities might include hiking trails within or near the campground, playgrounds for children, and open areas for games and activities. If located near a body of water, features could include fishing access, boat ramps or docks, or even a designated swimming area. Manters Camp LLC might also offer communal facilities such as a pavilion or gathering space for groups. For RVers, features like level sites, ample parking space, and easy access to hookups are important considerations. The overall layout and design of the campground likely aim to maximize the enjoyment of the natural surroundings while providing convenient access to amenities. Local users might appreciate features that cater to families, outdoor enthusiasts, or those simply seeking a peaceful place to relax.
To attract local users, Manters Camp LLC might offer unique features or advantages that set it apart. As a locally owned and operated establishment (implied by the "LLC" designation), it might have a more personal touch and a greater understanding of the needs of the local community. Unique features could include themed weekends or events, partnerships with local attractions or businesses, or perhaps specialized facilities catering to specific interests, such as equestrian camping if the area is known for it. The campground's proximity to local towns or cities could also be a feature, offering a balance between a natural retreat and easy access to urban amenities. Word-of-mouth within the local community and positive online reviews can also serve as significant features, indicating a well-regarded and enjoyable camping experience.

DISCLAIMER we did tent camping for the total eclipse and NOT cabin camping for hunting. The ground is covered in sage brush which poked holes in our tents and the ants and other bugs swarmed our tents. It is windy, hot, and very sunny here in August. There is a gas grill provided but no light for cooking at night, and they provided porta potties for the crowd. Owners are great, Wi-Fi is provided and beautiful view of mountains.
Stayed for the solar eclipse. The owners were very friendly during booking communication, and great hosts during the eclipse event. Loved the little signage placed alongside the road coming in from Douglas. It was totally cool ;)
We were here for the solar eclipse, Shain and his family made us feel welcome. I would give it more stars, but there are not that many amenities, just RV hook ups, and a great open view.
My friends and I were very lucky to stay at Manter's Camp during the eclipse. They probably had the largest crowd in their history that weekend. YET, I felt a very personal connection with the hosts. Bonus: the space they gave us for our tent was HUGE compared to most campgrounds. So glad we picked Manter's Camp.
We just stayed in one of the cabins while hunting in the area and had a great experience. The owners are very nice people and we will definitely stay here if we ever hunt in this area again.
