Beautiful campground!! Very clean. Each reserved camp spot has their own picnic table & grilled fire pit & BBQ grill & a spot to put up your tent. Access to restrooms & the best part being able to visit & explore the beatiful river nearby ♥️
Convenient location, clean restrooms, friendly camp hosts. The campsites have little privacy and are close to the road. There is a creek next to the campsites that somewhat helps drown out the noise. Unfortunately there is often a mix of smells because of the toilets and people smoking weed at night. Not the worst place to be, but we probably won't be back unless absolutely necessary.
Delightful camping experience on Oak Creek. There are perhaps 20 compact sites snuggled between the creek and Hwy 89A. There is one vault toilet building with 4 toilets to serve the campground. While water is available from campground hydrants it didn't look very clear in our clear jugs. You might consider bringing your own drinking water. We experienced both rain and snow in early March '25 for our visit. Onsite camp host was very helpful with local information. We were able to snag a camp site mid-afternoon on two nights. Some vehicle parking spaces are very snug. This campground is intended for tent campers. No trailers or RVs are permitted. Pickup campers and vans are ok. There are no power/water/waste hookups. Firewood is available from the camp host. Sedona is a short 15-20 minute drive away.
This is a tent only campground. Most of the sites you can back your car into the site. There are a handful of sites that you cannot back into, I think those are sites 11 through 15. In total there are approximately 19 sites. There are a few that can accommodate a camper van. It's just off highway 89 so you do hear some traffic, but you also hear the water from oak Creek which is nice. The camp host is very friendly and campground is clean as well as the bathrooms. (Pit toilets)
Ms. Webb was very helpful after I inquired about any available spot for another night. She moved me to another site that was available for two nights. The campground is clean and quiet, and the host continually makes his rounds around the camp.
One of the most beautiful campgrounds in Sedona! Right on Oak Creek with plenty of shade and incredible scenery. The location between two tall mountains makes it shaded and less windy, that’s actually pretty refreshing. Sites are small—just enough space for two tents and one car. If you have a second vehicle, you’ll need to find roadside parking, which can be limited depending on when you visit. Overall, a peaceful and scenic place to camp. Perfect if you’re looking for a quiet, nature-filled experience close to the creek.
A beautiful spot right in the iconic oak creek valley smack dab between Sedona and Flagstaff. The camp hosts are so kind and knowledgeable! Just go ahead and ask Randy for any hiking trails or fishing spots and you will not be disappointed!
We were lucky enough to get a spot last minutes while other campgrounds around Sedona were all still closed for the season. The host was off duty so the area manager was there to helped us out. He was such a nice guy and pleasant to talk to. Restroom was spacious and clean. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in town.
