We had a great time at Maple Hill Resort! The water was clear and shallow for the kids to play, stairs to the water were wide enough to launch the kayaks and paddle boards easily. We had our own dock to keep the boat at. Lots of good outdoor seating and mature trees for shade. The cabin was stocked with all kitchen items we needed. The layout of the king bedroom was a little odd as it was a pass through to the basement, but there were plenty of beds for our group. It was a nice quiet area but still close to things to do. We really enjoyed our stay and had a nice relaxing time!
Had a great time here with my family and my brothers with their families. We weren't sure if we would like being on the channel between the two lakes, but it worked out perfect for our group. There wasn't a lot of traffic throughout the day, and it was the perfect depth for them to play. I think the kids spent more time in the water than out of it. Good price for what you get. We didn't spend a whole lot of time in the house because the weather was so nice. The only complaint my wife had was that the puzzles are missing quite a few pieces 😆
We love staying here! We have stayed here for the last 4+ years and have always had an absolutely great time. The cabin is rustic, the beds are comfy and that's what makes it great! You don't want to miss hearing or seeing the loons on the lake, fishing from the dock, enjoying a campfire, or kyacking or boating on the lake. The owner Paul provides all of his guests with the opportunity to take out a kyack or row boat. This is by far our favorite place to spend our summer vacation! Be sure to book early in the year so you don't miss out!
Beautifully maintained little cabin. It was a perfect place for my Dad and I to spend a weekend together. We didn't even take the boat onto the big lake, Grass lake was awesome for fishing. Big bass, northern, and a ton of sunnies. Will be back for sure!
Had a great week fishing, kayaking, boating, relaxing, eating somores, watching and listening to wild life. Ate at a local dinner for a lunch. Stopped in a Sweet Shop and picked out a couple treats. The only down fall was the internet. Not so good. Buuutt. If you are trying to get away then it was good. Makes you drop the phone and enjoy. Thanks Paul and Bridget for allowing us the time up there. Hope to do it again next year.
