Surrounded by lush greenery and a man-made lake, Maple View Campground provides a unique blend of relaxation and outdoor adventure.
At Maple View Campground, you can enjoy a variety of amenities designed to enhance your camping experience. While the campground features a rustic charm, it is important to note that some facilities may require maintenance. Some campers have also mentioned the need to maintain their own grass and the difficulty of navigating large crushed stone sites.

Customer Reviews
Stayed for 3 months in this swamp land. Facilities are very old and not safe to use at all. Only one employee running the whole show (the owner) which is just unreal, we have stayed in many parks and never seen only 1 person doing everything. Every time it rained our spot became a lake. Laundry facilities that you have to book ahead of time with some one in the park (they not always there) and it is closed on the weekends. You have to cut your own grass The man made lake is cool but there is no filtration, so it does smell like a sewer. No 50amp sites. Large Crushed stone sites makes it very hard to get in, level and get out. Unpleasant experience. Update on owners response about the aggressive dog. Our German shepherd is friendly and was playing with other dogs and people at the campground. At the specific incident when the leash broke, and the dog nipped the other dog, which next day was addressed and conversation was held in your office. 4 days later after the owner of the dog suddenly noticed that their dog was bothered. The vet prescribed usual antibacterial paste and we paid the $300 vet bill on the spot! You could have asked us to put electric collar and to insure no such thing happened again but you wanted to take specific action against our dog. While other REAL DANGEROUS dogs are at your campground, and won’t have to be muzzled as they are never walked and campers avoid walking around these areas! Warning could have been sufficient. But an email 4 days later after we were sure the issue was resolved. at 1:30am is Not OK.
From the first time my husband and I checked out the park, we weren’t impressed. However, as snowbirds this park was close to family so we decided to try it out. There were constantly dogs off leash running towards myself and my German shepherd. Kids play area is very old and dirty. The mini putt structures are full of nails sticking out and is unsafe for children. The water pond area smells like sewage. Many campers refuse to go in at all. Thankfully we left after three months. The owner discriminated against my dog saying it needs a muzzle and we refused. There are very aggressive dogs here that don’t ever get exercise. They have gotten loose and attacked people! This park will be better run by an organization. Hopefully KOA or Sun Outdoors purchases this campground as the current owner has no idea what he’s doing. He enjoys sending long emails at 130 in the morning. Who wants to wake up to that?! Even seasonal campers want out of here. Don’t buy a trailer here!! Look elsewhere with upgraded amenities. Sadly here, no money is reinvested into the campground and it’s really more like a trailer park.
My wife and I started to camp at Mapleview last summer mid July. This place is great. The owners are always around and are very personable. The sites are large and have 3 services. There are a lot of things to do on the weekends from, bingo, kids crafts, darts, horseshoes, and more. Great place for families to come and soak up the summer with great neighbours.
We stayed here for an extended weekend in August and had an amazing experience. The owner was so helpful, always checking in to be sure we were settled and had everything we needed. The seasonal campers were so friendly and even offered to lend items we were missing. Swimming area was a HUGE hit with all our kids. We will absolutely camp here again.
I have be a seasonal camper here for over 10 years, awesome is the best way to discribe it. The owner is super helpful and is constantly updating and adding. Its also a top notch community!
