Mara Lake RV & Beach Club by Pinnacle Lifestyles

I was visiting nearby & looking to possibly book at this park. However, I soon discovered that there is no on site supervision or management!! The gate is open 24 hrs I was told, which makes me very nervous, essentially since there is no one there supervising, anyone could come in off the highway in the middle of the night. The rules online said dogs on a leash and not allowed on the beach at all except in dog beach area , but I saw two dogs loose with no supervision on the “people” beach. If they did their business, no one was watching to pick up. It looked unkept and I just didn’t feel safe. I didn’t find it all like advertised, a waste of my time looking.

We rented a rustic waterfront cabin, our second year in a row and we will be booking for next year as well. Having our own BBQ, deck, picnic table and indoor washroom is perfect. Even caught some fish off the dock in the evenings. We took advantage of several onsite amenities including washer & dryer, sauna etc. We are also appreciative that there is a dog friendly side to their beach. Quiet, family run and cared for ~ great experience all around.

The staff at Mara Lake RV and Beach Club are fantastic. They were compassionate and understanding when my brother showed up really late due to a highway closure. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The swimming beach was fantastic. A little rocky with some underwater vegetation, so water shoes are a good idea here. I had 4 kids (7,7,8 and 10) and I felt very comfortable with them in the water here. They had activities for the kids on one of the days I was there, face painting and tie dye shirts. Literally the only complaint I have is the fire ban, and that had nothing to do with the facility. 5 stars. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

The lake was so warm and clean. The location is amazing. So much fun stuff to do in the area. The bathrooms are fantastic, clean and renovated. There is pride of ownership here and a sense of community. Owners and managers are so kind and helpful. This is our second year here and we have already booked for next year. Excited to try other Pinnacle Lifestyles campgrounds on the way home.

Outstanding campground!! The owners are amazing, the sites are very clean, and the lake is the best part of the campground! The owners did an amazing job at renovating the campground, the change is unbelievable. Anyone who got to see the change from before to now, will know how much work and love has been put into this gorgeous place. If I could give a 6 star review, I definitely would. I would recommend Pinnacle Lifestyles to any person who is looking for an amazing get away from the city.
