Best resort to experience the eastern side of Washington. Great fishing and scenes to explore. The service is amazing and the food is great. The bait shop is well stocked and the employees give great advice for spots and tackle to fish. Definitely recommend!
Contrary to the Yahoo/ Google questionnaire, this is not a motel type resort. It is an RV Resort, but it does have cabins to rent besides the RV spaces. Most of the RV spaces are level and spacious. The roads to the RV sites are nice and level and well maintained. Cost is reasonable to stay. The Potholes Reservoir is good fishing. I have heard. The resort does have a boat launch. There is a very good restaurant on-site, as well as a mini golf course. Nearby there are 2 regular courses. On the resort property, there is a full playground, horse shoe pits, and volleyball setup. If I have one concern, it would be the lack of garbage collection bins. It's a good distance for someone with a physical disability. My last concern is something that the resort has very little power over. On our last night there, we were going to leave early the next morning to get ahead of the traffic. People were coming in for the holiday weekend, and they were not polite campers making all kinds of noise during what is normally quiet time. Some people have no respect for others.
I was asked to leave one morning after sharing my experience with “ new tenants “ about the restaurant. Absolutely the worst service. 45 mins to be seated when the restaurant was half full, 30 mins to get food after we ordered. I gave an honest review to people and it turned out to be the owners. They had the campground manager ask me to leave when I still had 2 days left in my stay. They only care about their image to the community and not how the business is treating the customers.
We were camped with our rv on the beach. They did not tell us how many feet to hook up to electricity we almost left because we needed 2 extension cords, which would have been nice if they told us. Thank goodness and neighbor let us borrow one. People were packed everywhere on beach and camping spots. People's dogs were not on leashes, and one gentleman was washing his dog in the swimming area with shampoo, it's tacky.
Fantastic place to stay. This place is great to stay at you like water sports. The lake is big and has loads of room for all kinds of water toys. If you like fishing this is definitely the place.
