Marin RV Park Introduce
Nestled in the heart of Greenbrae, California, Marin RV Park offers a unique blend of convenience and affordability for travelers seeking an RV camping experience. Located at 2140 Redwood Hwy, this park is just a 20-minute walk from the ferry that takes visitors to Alcatraz Island, making it an ideal base for exploring San Francisco Bay Area attractions.
Marin RV Park provides full hook-ups and features a clean pool, adding value to your stay. It's a budget-friendly option compared to nearby resorts, with rates around $115 per night in July 2023.
- Location: Conveniently located near the highway yet close to natural attractions.
- Pool: A clean and inviting pool for relaxation.
While the park has its charm, some guests have noted that the sites are small, which may limit the use of RV features like slides. Electrical hookups are available but have had issues with reverse polarity and only 20amps, so it's advisable to come prepared.
- Services: Friendly staff and essential amenities for a comfortable stay.
Customer feedback highlights the park's proximity to Alcatraz Island as a major plus. Guests appreciate the affordability compared to other nearby RV parks, such as Sa Fran RV Resort and Candlestick RV Park, which are priced higher without additional amenities like a pool.
While Marin RV Park has its challenges, it remains a viable option for those looking for an affordable and centrally located camping spot in the area.

Customer Reviews
Where to start with my review_OMG. #1 There is NO_WAY. This place is worth over $100/ night. #2 Although the pool is cool, small, and mostly clean, it is not heated at all. There is no hot tub or sauna or any other amenities here. #3 The sites are TINY. I have a full sized crew cab dually 4x4 long bed and only traveling with a 1 axle less then 20 foot travel trailer and the site they gave us (J10) is small enough that with our little trailer backed to within 18" from back of my trailer to fence_ still connected, my truck sits 1/3 of the way into the street past the white sideline. We had to call the office and they were nice enough to give us a site down at the end to park our truck at._ not in ALL the places I've camped for this year's family vacation spanning from Western washington over to eastern Montana and down To south eastern Texas and over to NM, AZ NV and into CA have we EVER had a site so small that we had to park our truck someplace else. Not only short but only about 12' wide and there rules state if you use your slides or awning that they have to be further then 6' from your neighbors rig; LOL.. good luck using anything you have here. There are no picnic tables or fire pits. It's just a gravel spot with 6x6 timbers separating the cramped sites. #4 The electrical is wired BACKWARD (REVERS POLARITY). AND to top it off_it's only 20 AMPS. (At our site)_ the sites to our left and right have 30 AMPs, but we got a site that has reverse polarized 20 amps. NOT 30 amps. Which for even s small RV is extremely minimal and will pop the breaker if you run mire then just the A/C and anything else. #4.5 the site was NOT cleaned up at all; there was no less then about 20 nasty cigarette buts littering the grounds of our tiny site. And NO_im NOT cleaning up after someone else's nasty habbits. #5 they have an impeccable and exhausting list of "rules." OMG_ !! #6 Someone on some other posts talked about the laundry. We went and looked at them. The triple loaders are $5 per load, and the dryers are .25 cents per 5 minutes. BUT the washers and dryers are BRAND NEW! _lots of them and lots of dryers (ALL) Are brand NEW!! #6 complaints about the bathrooms _ what bathrooms are they using?! Because the bathrooms we went into don't have any real issues, several stalls, and a few showers and mostly clean, no problems with floors or ceiling issues seen whatsoever. #7 the people who pulled in next to us, a class C motor home came, left, them returned and took off and left there motor home for HOURS and there smoke detector or CO2 detector BEEPING repeatedly and loud so it's annoying clear into our trailer. They even returned for a few minutes. we saw the women go INTO their motorhome for a moment for whatever. We even heard the guy ask her if that noise was coming from THAIR rig. But then they both took off back around down the road on foot again. Leaving us and everyone around to deal with their attrocious beeping motorhome. They didn't return again for several more hours and FINALLY shut off their stupid noise!! I'm definitely NOT very happy with this place and definitely will NOT be returning. The only positive I feel is it is only like a 20 minute walk to the ferries that will take you to the peers that are down from the boat tour to alkatraz island.
Go here! Compared to the two only alternatives Sa Fran RV Resort and Candlestick RV Park it is your best choice. One RV Site is 115$ with full hook up and clean pool in July 2023. Also close to the highway, but nice locations near by and a friendly service. The other two alternatives have a price per night with full hook up 145$ and no pool and the service on the phone etc was poor - see my reviews.
Gravel parking lot with RV hook ups that is a 15 minute walk to the Larkspur ferry to San Francisco. Tight spots, even for my small trailer. Laundry good. Trader Joe's within walking distance. Adequate AT&T service.
We stayed here for 8 weeks. The spots are tiny, especially for the price, and we missed being able to hang out right outside of our camper. No room to set up chairs, a table, or even put your awning out. The bathrooms and laundry area were always clean, and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed the walking trails, and made lots of friends here! They were very accommodating with giving us a spot for our 2nd vehicle. If we’re ever back in the area, we would absolutely stay again.
Spots are extremely narrow, all gravel, no grass. Bathrooms were basic and old but very clean. Nice to be 10 minutes from Golden Gate Bridge.
