Friendly staff. Was skeptical of a gravel tent sight but it turned out really nice. Great privacy with the privacy fence, the kitchen area was great, electric and water in site. Good fishing. Stayed for a week had a great time. Only thing is the bathhouses could use some upgrades. Slow draining showers, sewer gas smell, ran out of hot water during showers, and they weren't very clean. Heard this complaint from the other guest.
Absolutely spectacular KOA ! The sites are amazing ! The views are perfect and the amenities are spot on ! Spectacular bar with virgin drinks for kids as well as great mixers for adults ! Table tennis ! Shuffle board ,bags, fire pit area ! Good size water park for a reasonable price ! Boat and jet ski rentals on site .. also dozens of cabins for rent which are stunning and the best tent sites I’ve ever seen with walls dividing sites ! I should add the optional high end sites are worth every penny ! Huge fire pits , Adirondack chairs! Some sites have covered pergolas! Some have wrought iron furniture ! This isn’t your typical KOA I would imagine this will be resort level next year ! I should also give a shot out to all of the staff the literally make you feel at home ! A couple knew my kids names after 3 days ! We’re literally booking another short trip this fall and hopefully a group for the spring!
We happened upon this KOA and the views are beautiful, the waterfalls are soothing to listen to all day and night. We stayed in our RV, the cabins look nice, the staff is friendly and very helpful. We’ve seen fawns at the waterfall along with a momma raccoon and her babies and a squirrel family living & playing in the tree next to our site. Would definitely recommend staying here.
We loved staying at this resort. A four star only because the new RV pads need some landscaping and they don’t have a view of the water. The gift shop is excellent. The food is wonderful. Burger bar on the weekend. The pizza is awesome. And the boozy shakes are off the charts. Be sure and rent a boat or jet ski to enjoy the lake. Best part is the staff is phenomenal. We stayed in our motorhome but they have really nice cabins too.
Great campground…Pizza and Ice cream were a 10 out of 10. The owners are amazing guys, they’ve purchased new large scale playgrounds that are going in with a jump pillow, inflatable waterslide and a new inflatable “on the lake” obstacle course. Our RSVP’s were made before the KOA merger and we didn’t get the notice the grounds were closed until April. They had by all rights the ability to send us in our way. Both of the owners bent over backwards for us and were super accommodating and friendly. We practically had the place to ourselves. The staff was awesome and the grounds are well prepped for the season to start. This place is definitely worth your visit. Come stay and play on the lake or just enjoy the weekend in the campground. The store has just about anything you’d possibly need and the restaurant is delicious and fare priced….you won’t be disappointed. We stayed on the top terrace in our 40’ fifth wheel. The sites we were in are like nothing we’ve seen in 10 yrs of camping, RV on gravel, door opens to a full concrete site. No dirt, mud or grass. No mess…it’s amazing. Concrete around the back of the back of the RVs with tables and a huge fire pit over looking the lake. I absolutely can not say enough about this camp ground.
