Came up with a large group by paddleboat and the entire Masseys staff was so accommodating. Nice little campground and Marina also with good food and entertainment
Beautiful campground not far by car from Dubuque. Beware coming in and leaving, the turn from the highway to Massey Station Rd is tight, downhill and onto railroad tracks, which pass 50 feet from the campgrounds. Leaving is up the hill and tight back to the highway.
Campsite was clean, river was flooded, kids had lots of fun. Showers were clean and hot. Food was good. Live music was a plus. The far end camping area was a little scary
Such a cool area, very peaceful and nice that the bar is right on the river/in the campground. Definitely an old person's retired area, loved driving through.
Awesome camping but not cool for driving RVs down a steep sharp turn. It's possible but hope your experienced.
