Maumelle state park campground is a beautiful place to stay. Even if you live in Little Rock. Right on the water and tons of trees. Great place to go for the day. We have camped here many times now and it’s just so quiet and peaceful. Will keep coming back again and again. Rates are great. Electric and water only with several bathhouses and dump stations throughout park.
Great campground, clean restrooms, lake views, and nice sites. I would definitely stay here again! Plenty of space at your site, hooks ups are at a good height, and plenty of dump stations for the multiple sections of the campground.
Beautiful park. Staying here September 2-8. Fishing with a license or permit. Great bike riding around the park A lot of campers walk daily.
Maumelle Park is always full, which says alot regarding how good it is to stay here. I've stayed here for decades, in all the areas. There is no bad place to stay here. Close to Pinnacle Mountain. Close to Two Rivers Park. Walk to the Yacht Club on the Arkansas River. Close to shopping and everything you need in modern conveniences. Great place to rest and exercise. Lots of locals camp here just for the enjoyment. Lots of trees. Level. Good security.
Simply beautiful campground. Nice breeze coming off the lake. Electric and water at campsite. There is a dump station. Playground for all the kids. Boat ramp and fishing. Lots of hiking.
