Whenever my wife and I arrive at Mayberry campground, whether its summer, fall, winter or spring, the owner Kali.and mgr Lorraine bend over backwards to accommodate us. The people here are incredible. I've seen other campgrounds where when winter comes, its empty even though its open, that's not the case with Mayberry. People love it here, what else can I say? Thank you, Kali, for treating your campers like family.

Highly Recommend this Campground when your journeying North or South and need an overnight stay! Large sites that can accommodate big rigs! Only negative is Campers driving to fast into the night on the gravel roads..but that certainly isn't the hosts fault! I'm sure we will return one day.

After months of online research we decided to stay here for the Autumn Leaves Festival week. The campground is very well maintained to include all the gravel roads. The staff is super friendly and goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The dog park was huge and the dogs loved it. Mt Airy is nearby with all the "Mayberry" things to see. We took a day trip to Pilot Mountain State Park which is nearby. We are going to book next year’s dates soon.

This a very good and clean campground. We visit at least 1-2 times every year. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and nice. They are like family now! Campground is close to town and all the major highways. Several great restaurants close by is a perk too (Cody Creek, 13 Bones, Chili's, Cracker Barrel, etc.).

We have stayed at this campground twice for one night only each time on our way further south. Very beautiful campground, clean, friendly staff and awesome views. We highly recommend this campground and I am sure we will return. Our three dogs enjoyed the open spaces to sniff about.

Nice clean park with large sites and good gravel roads. Staff has been very friendly on both visits. Park is easy drive to all the local Mayberry tourist attractions. My only negative on the park would be the lack of shade trees.

We recently stayed at site 38. The site was good sized and deep enough to park truck in front of our fifth wheel. Only negative, was no picnic table. My husband enjoyed the ponds as he enjoys fishing. It's 15 minutes from Mt. Airy. Enjoyed our stay. Beautiful campground. Thanks for all you do.

You’re just down the road from the very busy Mount Airy town but far enough way to enjoy peace and quiet and a beautiful atmosphere. This is our second time staying at this campground and they make it very enjoyable. Everything is so clean and neatly cut and the roads are always kept Very well.

This was our third trip and we took site 88. It’s absolutely horrible. The site 89 power and sewerage hookups were literally 4’ from my door. 1- they should totally not rent out site 88 for 26’. 2-I went to the office Friday morning and was told 89 would stay empty. Later in the evening a fifth wheeler pulled in site 89. His unit was way too big and now fully encroached on my site. 3- the amount of space out my door was 3’ then it went into a ravine. We couldn’t sit out side and watch the outdoor tv. Staff needs to make sure they know details of a site being empty or not. They should not let campers bigger than 15’ camper in 88 or 89. They should look into combining 88-89. I will not be back. Mgmt in your response you did not read my complaint. There was someone in site 89 next to me. I have proof of pics below

We stayed a few nights here as part of a seasonal trip between South Carolina and Michigan. We were immediately impressed! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome. The facilities were clean and very well-maintained, which is always a huge plus. The campground offers full hook-ups, including water, sewer, and both 50/30 amp electric. Free WiFi is available, but we used our Starlink. The picturesque views of the Blue Ridge Mountains were absolutely stunning! It's also conveniently located near Mt. Airy, wineries, local restaurants, and plenty of outdoor activities. Be sure to visit the on-site CampStore for an impressive selection of camping gear and accessories. We were in site #6, and for future stays I'd probably avoid loop #6-12 since its design made parking ahead of our trailer challenging. It also would be helpful if the park installed more pet waste stations throughout the grounds.
