McCulley Farms is a great place to horse camp whether you’re planning a weekend get away or a months long winter escape. We’ve been coming here in the winter for 5 or 6 years now. This is an actual working farm, not a fancy horse camp. There are quite a few trails available to ride right out of the camp, some that meander along the river. Campsites are mostly pull through with electric and water; some have sewer as well. There are large paddocks and a few covered stalls for your horses. Most of there barns were lost in hurricane Helene, but they are busy rebuilding and will soon have plenty of covered stalls again. Richard and Carol McCulley are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. I highly recommend McCully Farms!

Horse camping. Their barns got destroyed in the hurricane, but they are slowly rebuilding and clearing damaged trails. Nice people.

My 1st time ever being here thanks to hurricane Milton. This place and the people that own it are more than awesome! It is pet friendly .I have a 125lb Kangal dog and most places wouldn't even think of having a dog that size on property even though she is very well behaved and has no issue with other animals. They didn't even bat an eye about her. They welcomed us and told me if there was anything I needed or addressed to let them know so they could take care of it, if anyway possible. Even though they were devastated by hurricane Helene.II think it was 40 horse stalls and a group social area and a large equipment barn totally destroyed and still the friendliest people you could meet, they have trails to ride your horses and are in the process of clearing to rebuild and the campgrounds are open. Very affordable also. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!!! Thank you so much for An enjoyable stay in the midst of running from hurricane Milton. There was also bathrooms with hot showers.

This farm is fantastic. The owners are super nice and host many different types of equine events. The horse trails are gorgeous. They were hit very hard by the hurricane this year but are slowly cleaning up the aftermath.

This place is just a wonderful spot to camp, hang out and ride. Near the Withlacoochee River, on a hot day, the springs are only a few minutes away. I like that I can rent a small pasture where I can turn my horse out at night. Usually I can find a good camping spot where I can see my horses from my tent. There are many choices for tents, RVs and also small cabins. The trail riding it beautiful and just goes on and on along the river and into the deeper forest. I love the obstacle challenge area.

I chose their primative camping. It could not have been more peaceful, in a beautiful field with treeline for shade, or large oak in the center with perfect shade. Convenience to restroom and water source if you need it, depends on how much privacy you want and distance between you and the farm/campground. The owners could not have been any more kind and accommodating. The riding was peaceful with no bicycles, atv's, etc.
