Great place very peaceful son and I had a blast fishing here. only recommended thing I could give would be put some spots with shade no where by dam to get shade would make it little more enjoyable to cool off from the hot weather
Nice quiet spot to camp while fishing the outlet. If you are tent camping, don't pick a place in the middle section. There isn't much grass on the ground. All areas have electric and water for campers.
Very pretty small COE Park on the lake 30amp electric + water. No sewer. Vault toilets only. Reservable. Only downside is most sites although paved are heavily sloped or slanted.
This is a very nice but small camping area. Only about 15 sites. One pair of vault toilets. No showers. There is 30 amp power and water at each site, but no sewer, nor is there a dump station, so hopefully, your RV has enough storage to last and take with you when you leave. Most of the sites are fairly closely grouped as well, so if privacy and/or solitude is your thing, you may want to look elsewhere. The view of the lake is decent, though when the lake is at normal or low levels, it is a ways away. Also, the main road is fairly close and well traveled, so you'll likely hear noise from the traffic passing by. All in all, I'm not disappointed by my stay. However, this location is not at the top of my list of favorites on Kaw Lake.
While the view is good thats about all the good this place has to offer. The first big issue is there is no dump site so unless you want to drag your waste with you, you cannot use anything in your camper. The bathroom facilities are just 1 step up from a porta-john and no sink and most of the time we where here the inside of the white tube going to the blue goo is splattered with a lot of brown stuff. The the RV pads are the worst, domed high with asphalt, horrably sloped and uneven, with excessively high ramps everywhere, dont go outside without a light or you might break something .
