We had a lovely stay at McGee Creek. The location is amazing. The stars at night are unreal. Because you're so far out there (and your fellow campers are respectful), you do get some real peace and quiet. You're about 15 minutes from Mammoth Lakes and slightly less than an hour from Yosemite or Mono Lake. Thomas the maintenance man was very friendly and helpful. I didn't catch his name, but the gentleman in charge of the trout pond was similarly polite and had a lot of good tips for catching and preparing the fish. The bathrooms were clean. The only slight qualm I had involves the height of the shower stalls. In the men's room, they are slightly too short which makes it possible for folks to peer in to and out of while you're showering. I found that uncomfortable. I think we got very nice value for the price. All in all, I would highly recommend McGee Creek and I would return.

Great place to home-based your Mammoth stay. The creek adds a lovely listening experience. The hosts are nice and accommodating. The sites are large and the cost is right.

I love this RV and Tent sites. It has its own 3 ponds and stream running right on the site. Near by Wild willy Hot Springs is also only 8 miles away. It's close to Mammoth Lake, June Lake and Bishop. But if you want to just relax and rest, you can just stay at the site and enjoy the clean McGee Creek, ponds, and well maintained flower beds and trees all over the site. I love it and will make the reservation for next year now. They are open only for April to October. It gets booked really fast. So, make sure to reserve early on.

First stay at McGee Rv. Beautiful rustic park. We were in space 15 with the Mac Gee Creek flowing behind us. 15 min drive to Mammoth Mountain and many other place such as Crowley Lake. The couple owners or operating the park are extremely friendly and have a beautiful baby that we got to meet. Our site was good size with a clean table.

Nice, quiet campground. We stayed in a river site (24) that was nice but very small and really close to our neighbors who had a cold and I could literally hear him sneezing constantly 🤣. The sites off the river seemed much roomier. The ponds were closed for fishing and the dog park was ok but could definitely use some updating and the long clumps of grass to be mowed. All in all we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.
