Absolutely lovely! Nice and far from the road, you can't hear a single car! Every campsite is decently spaced from each other, with a clean bathroom that isn't too far away. Very mossy and full of ferns! I recommend taking a walk down to the boat ramp, it's full of neat little nooks filled with either plants or mushrooms!

We had a quick overnight stop at this campground for our road trip, campground and bathroom is really clean and well maintenance, there was so many stars that night (tried to take a pic)!! Host greeted us the next morning and asked if we needed anything, super friendly. Really close to blue pool hike, about 15miles to blue pool trail, the view at blue pool was breathtaking, about 4 miles round trip hike that's mostly flat and easy to walk. Really recommend blue pool hike if you are camping at this campground!

Dream campground that was well-maintained, with lots of shade and privacy from the tall trees. We grabbed campsite #11, which wasn't quite on the river but still walkable and within earshot (like a white noise machine). There's a boat loading spot in the campground where you can pull up a chair to the river if you want to. Timmy was a great campground host. Checked us in quickly, sold us firewood from his truck, and let us enjoy our space!

Love the place. The hosts were a bit over the top. Camped in 13 the first night, host 1 came by and said our fire had sticks hanging out so we fixed it. After that host 2 sat in golf cart and talked on phone loudly for at least 30 minutes to the point that my partner had to take a walk to get away from her loud talking.Moved to 14 next day. Host 1 visited us again, say the same thing. We were sitting right by the fire attending it. We are well aware of fire danger and respect the need for extra awareness. We live 40 miles down river and are part of the Blue River Community. Host 1 visits again as my partner is using a fire poking stick to move logs around. Host 2 sits in golf cart and visits with 8 firefighters that moved across from us. Host 1 returns to cart and proceeds to visit with firefighters for 30 minutes. I am pretty sure that the firefighters would’ve liked to just had that time for themselves. We did not bother them, but did leave three packages of cookies and a thank you note. Restrooms were clean, but noticed that the sheet to say that they had clean them had not been kept up. We were camped there from July 17-26
