The campsite was cozy and peaceful but Elizabeth, while extremely polite, could probably stand to be a little less forward with the guests. Multiple times she made us uncomfortable and we had to ask her to leave. Also the restrooms are outhouse style for anyone who might be stopping by it’s a beautiful site I would stay here again!
Very basic campground with pit toilets, no showers or drinking water. For some reason the forest is dying here so it's pretty ugly. No on site hosts so it can be noisy during quiet hours. Much better campground down the road a little ways.
quirky but friendly camp host. dry area with only pit toilets, no running water to be found. definitely check out other areas or simply disperse camp.
The camp host Elizabeth was horrible felt like I was being harassed! Constantly coming by to our site I will never camp here again! Her generator was also obnoxiously loud! I could not believe how rude she was!
Amazing! We stumbled on this campground by mistake. We were trying to find a campground but they were full or closed. So we stopped at the Ranger station which was also closed but looked at the maps outside.,We saw 3 that were close by and you did not have to have a reservation. So we went to McNeil a campground. This was a a Friday night and we found a perfect spot. The campground does not take resetvations. First come first serve. There is not a bad spot in the campground. It's $19 a night. They have a outhouse style bathrooms. That are kept clean. We. Met the Campground Representives. Eric and Vanessa are amazing. They take pride in there work, and go above and beyond to make your stay, feel like home. There boss should be very proud of them.
