Pretty good campground. Although the bathrooms were a little untidy and there were too much bug's, but the lake was really pretty, and the water was very warm. The bath is $1 for 3 mins. A little bit on the warm side. The campgrounds were perfect. Plus, there were also canopies, so it wouldn't be too hot. There are bear storage boxes, so make sure to put your food in there. There is a water faucet. The problem was that there's loud music at 5-6 pm. Other then that, everything was great! They even served wood if you wanted to have a bonfire. I highly recommend it here.
Stayed here for a night on the way to Yosemite. Quiet and a clean place with nice views of the lake. The bathrooms need a tiny bit of cleaning. Although we arrived past sunset, it was easy to find our site. The views along the road to the campground is very nice too!
I visited Meadows Campsite on a Thursday on November 19, 2020. Weather was pleasant. Mid 60s in the day. High 30s at night. Usually it’s very cold at this time. This year it’s been a lovely fall season. Their weren’t a lot of campers around. Maybe 10 campers. Which it was nice. Plenty of space to share. There are a few hikes nearby. Walking distance to the lake. The camp ranger went around to make sure everyone had their reservation ticket. Short drive to two cities close by. A nice little getaway without driving too far for Fresno or Clovis residents. I would definitely visit again.
Great campground. I enjoyed staying here very much. It was amazing. Only issues were bugs the heat, and some partying campers nearby. On the other hand, it had a great view. 5 stars.
We camped here and had a very positive experience. We were assigned a space near the lake and boat ramp with hook-ups. The spot was level and clean and the views and sunset were spectacular. Reservations are required and the camp host was fully prepared and expecting our arrival.
