A fun out of the way spot. Just make sure your vehicle can handle some rough roads.
This place was totally accessible in the Honda Element. I was there on May 12, 2019 and stayed for one night. Once you pass the sign, you probably won't see another one but I found the place by spotting a couple of fire rings. Saw lots of bunnies and deer and camped at a beautiful spot. It was gorgeous and I would definitely go there again. Remember to pack out all your trash and use Leave No Trace Principles.
Not accessible by automobile. Use road at own risk as it looks really new and not driven at all. I popped a tire on my way back from not finding the campground. Maybe in 2019 it might be a drivable route that Google suggests but not at the moment. Probably accessible by ATV.
Close to home for me. Perfect for hiking with a starting point. People are always helpful there. BEAUTIFUL, sunsets are amazing, truly, never a bad one.
Very old, unkempt campground. Neither the road to it nor the campsites have been kept up very well. However it is very beautiful here.
