This is probably one of my new favorites - as of today, there is no fee to camp here, the overflow is great for RVs, and even though it is described as 'primative' campgrounds, one of the nearby campsites had a new table, a pit toilet in thw upper campground, and there are plenty of trash cans (Please use them, and please help keep our beautiful Nevada Parks clean). Meadow Valley has beautiful features of its own: access to Eagle Valley Creek, plenty of space to explore or stretch out, and best of all - it's not as popular/busy as Eagle Valley's Horsethief Gulch Campground. There was only one camper the last week I was there, and no other campers near me the other two times I have been to Meadow Valley Campground this Spring. Enjoy your stay, on the house! But please pick up after yourselves, and a few items you see if you can.
I give this campground 5 stars not because of the wazoo amenities but because of the availability and accessibility. It is free dry camping at it's finest. There is a chemical toilet available and several sites depending on your needs. Did I say that it is FREE! and well maintained. No running water available but if you need water because you neglected to bring your own it and flush toilets are available not far down the road at Eagle Valley Reservoir. The Eagle Valley Resort is also not far. It offers friendly staff, drinks at the bar, pool table, and a small store/bait shop.
A quiet, clean and free campground for those traveling on a budget. It was so quiet that I was the only one there that night!
A small camping spot with bathroom facilities. Its free so that beats all! There were tables and fire pits at each one. It started raining shortly after I got there and never let up until I left so I cant say much about the area.
Beautiful place for camping
