Located six miles west of Doyle California. Good road going into this secluded camp. There are six designated camp spots with picnic tables and fire rings along with clean vault toilets and water. Look forward to returning.
We showed up late and stayed for one night. Beautiful spot. Meadow View is farther up the road. Because we were late we did not want to disturb the campers already at the campground so we stayed here.
If your going there with horses dont waste your time. Road getting there is good but campground is not layed out for anything other than a small bumper pull trailer. Corrals are nearly 200 yards away and put of view from sites, they are buit in a marshy area with lots of mosquitos. Not horse friendly. It appears the grounds were originally built for small campers, corrals came much later.
A very lovely and secluded campground. When I arrived I was the only one there, though later a family did show up and left very early.
I have been going to this campground for 22+ years nice place to just get away
