We took Sand Mountain trail, it was very nice! We picked up a little bit of trash that we could, I really hope the people camping do a better job at packing out their trash! But it was a nice trail thank you to everyone who helps care for it ❤️🤗
Medicine Bow Mountain loop trail. I’ve hiked it both ways, don’t really have a favorite. Plan for later in the summer as snow covering the trail was a problem for us in early June.
Second time visiting this beautiful forest! Thankfully this time did not involve postholing most of the route. Late June is about the earliest you'll want to get there if you want to avoid snow
Such a beautiful drive and so many places to stop and hike! A lot of lakes that you can see without a hike as well!!
Had a blast with my dog as usual! Parking isn’t too hard to find if you come early, one of my favorite national forests.
