Melody Acres Rv Park Introduce

**🌳 Introduction / Overview: A Natural Setting Near City Convenience**

**Melody Acres RV Park** offers Kansas travelers a welcoming, full-service RV destination right in the heart of Hutchinson, Kansas. Established over 40 years ago, this park has cultivated a reputation for its **"beautiful, natural setting"** nestled in a wooded area, providing a peaceful contrast to the typically flat, open terrain of the region. It’s an ideal spot for visitors—both local and national—who desire the convenience of being close to the city's amenities while enjoying a tranquil, shaded retreat.

The park provides essential services expected by modern RVers, featuring **33 full hookup sites** (30/50 amp) and multiple pull-thru options, designed to accommodate all sizes of motorhomes and trailers. Its longevity and consistent focus on practical amenities, like clean laundry facilities and restrooms, make it a reliable base camp for exploring attractions such as the Kansas Cosmosphere and Strataca, the Kansas Underground Salt Museum.

**⚠️ Important Note on Customer Experience:** While official sources highlight the park's amenities and convenient location, recent public reviews contain significant negative feedback regarding management's interaction with tenants, citing issues like **"bullying,"** a lack of transparency in applying rules (e.g., uneven AC cover standards), and concerns about **overgrown trees/bushes blocking visibility** when exiting. This review information suggests a high degree of caution is warranted, and prospective long-term tenants should thoroughly research current conditions and management policies directly. We will proceed with factual, available data on location and amenities, as is our mandate.

These people bully their tenants if they don't "show loyalty" and tattle on their neighbors. Will call their tenants family members names and degrade them. They take advantage of people on disability. If you don't live there, your basically not allowed to be there, not even to visit people. You can be going the 5 mph speed limit they require and they will still say your speeding.

Some people are made to have brand new ac covers while others are allowed to have broken, missing sections or duct taped. Use caution when leaving as the overgrown trees/bushes are blocking visibility to see if traffic is coming

Constantly being harrassed by park manager about some real petty stuff. Like taking the long way through the park. And Even when complied with there request. They still push for eviction, Can't have more than 2 vehicles at a place . But park manager can have 6 vehicles and parks them under carports where people ain't living and they live in a fifth wheel. No storm shelter. People are rude and disrespectful and has tweakers coming and going all hours of the nite.

A quiet and reasonably priced campground/mobile home park on Hutchinson's south side. It appears to have seen better days. Bathhouse and laundry facilities are adequate.. Some sites have shade, pull thrus have none. The couple that works there are very friendly and helpful, especially when I arrived feeling sick from the 100° heat and could not get the electricity to work. They got the AC on.and water hooked up for me while I cooled off. Thanks and God bless.

Very quiet campground. Plenty of room between RV’s. Full hookups. Has a restroom/showers and laundry room but never had to use it so I can’t honestly rate that. The woman who runs the campground was very friendly and available. Overall for the price worth staying and I would stay again. If you are looking for a luxury full amenities place to park your RV this isn’t the campground for you.
