As a co owner of Melville's Family Campground we appreciate your feedback and comments. Melville's is a mom and pop campground now in it's 41st year. It basically was developed lakeside with partial wooded camping on the upper level. Fishing was and will always be our best amenity being on the shoreline of Saddlebag lake and connected to five other bodies of water. It's draw is peaceful, spacious and relaxing. The DNR preserves nature with strict rules and laws protecting all wildlife and nature which allows for country critters to co-exist. We are the perfect destination for anyone looking for down to earth and back to nature camping. Thank you for loyal campers that return again and again. The Legacy Lives on....and we feel blessed beyond measure. The Melville Family.

Weird setup with half the campground away from the lake, and half close. Large amount of seasonal campers. Beach area is nice, but small. Gorgeous lake.

We have made it a yearly tradition as a whole extended family to camp in the most secluded city rustic sites we can get and the kids are in absolute bliss. The staff is kind and helpful, their is a nice beach, a playground and activities for the family. It's a nice, quiet spot that we hope to visit for years to come. *added love points: my Dad taught my 7 year old how to ride a bike here over the summer

Horrible experience here. Office manager Taresa is a nightmare to deal with. We came with our 2 babies very excited to spend the summer here and she was very unwelcoming, rude and awful to us. Out of all the campgrounds in this area I would definitely recommend choosing another place to stay. Not family oriented at all. Beach is dirty and kids playground is completely unsafe falling apart.
