Merry Macs Campground

The park has plenty of options for fun. It has been improved over the years with newer rental options. The bathrooms are kept clean and they only charge .50 cents to shower for 7 minutes The swimming pond has many inflatables that are checked daily and aired up. The pool we didn’t use, but it was cleaned every morning as well👍🏻. The staff was fantastic!

As a large family we decided to beat the crowds and camp at Merri-mac. We chose Wednesday through Saturday. Some of us chose a rustic tent, next to the highway. Bathroom facilities was a port a potty. Some of us chose a cabin, not mindful of the RV dumping station just across from the cabin. And lastly Some chose basic water and electric camp site. During the morning hour at 8am everyday. We were welcomed by a LOUD leaf blower, and a LOUD "Honey wagon" putting sewage effluent into tanks at the communal Bathroom. In the afternoon we were greeted at the pool by 3 to 7 yr old kids bussed there by the local childcare. None of the child care attendants ever pottied the children. Making the pool their toilet. Helpful hint : Use the pool at 5pm when chlorine is added. The swimming pond is about the same. Good luck trying to breathe through the numerous tight quartered campfires, if you have asthma or COPD be prepared!

Seriously great campgrounds for the whole family! Very clean, lots of exciting activities and all the extras so you never get board. This place has been a repeat retreat for a group of us. And we will be back next year for sure! Thanks Merry Mac for an unforgettable experience for the whole family.

Our first trip to this campground with the Grandchildren. We were extremely pleased with amenities for the kids. The grounds are well cared for and have many activities with families and children in mind. We will be back!

My family has been camping here for decades. The newer owners have really invested into the campground and added a lot of new cabins and updated the bathrooms. You no longer have to pay extra for wristbands for the kids which was a pleasant surprise. My daughter left a camera in a cabin and the owners arranged to have it shipped back home to me, thanks for saving my teenage daughter a lot of tears. Looking forward to bringing my family back again in the future!
