Good location in the park to stop over if you are backpacking between sides of the park. A little bit of views to the east but not the best in the park. The best thing about these sites are you are more likely to have all of the sites to yourself than you would be if you stayed at Tejas or Pine Top.
Beautiful and secluded section of the park. Well worth the time to hike out there, enjoy the adventure.
