Great summer location (elevation is 9,200 ft) for a way to beat the heat. Great little boating lake, archery course, miles of trails (well marked). Accommodations are A frame cabins with 2 levels. Great place for a large group!

They've added archery. I went there when I was a kid one time and when you're an emotional teenager it was hard to have a lot of fun and notice your surroundings. But going again as an adult I really pushed the girls to look around and have a lot of fun on the trails, canoeing and other activities that they have. The LDS Missionaries that help run the grounds were amazing people, they weren't just some old cranky people enforcing rules. Everything is well maintained and just awesome.

Such a beautiful peaceful place! Only $15 dollars the night with a wood triangular cabin that 10 people can share? Wow. Nice. There is no WI-FI ( GREAT!) I totally recommend this place for camping. They have clean and "normal bathrooms with showers (cold freezing water) but still you are able to sit on a normal toilet and be able to enjoy nature us a plus. Besides they have a pabellion where you do your family gatherings. BBQ and carne asadas. You can go hiking (be aware of mosquitos) yikes but that's the price of being in the wilderness. You can go canoeing and it's free. It is a Mormon campsite with missionaries in charge and obviously there are codes of conduct to observe. No motorbike or motor vehicles are allowed. Nice camp but some of the missionaries are overly aggressive and rude. If you don't know that something isn't allowed they throw a fit. They need some training on how to greet and interact with people in a friendly way. "Good morning. Thanks for coming..." goes a long way. They have a lot of rules and jump down your throat about them. If you want a cookie cutter girl's camp, this is the way to go. Just expect some rudeness depending on the missionaries on duty.

This place is incredible. Gorgeous scenery. The cabins are bare bones but better than tents. Canoeing was definitely the high light. Bummed they don’t have fish in the pond, however, the tadpole like salamanders are everywhere you look in the water. They’re really fun to catch too.
