The campground itself is really nice and maintained. It’s quiet, slow pace. The only problem we ran into was the bathrooms and the dump station. I feel like the campground needs to at least have a bathroom built by the porta potties. That hill was atrocious to get up to get to the bathroom. We drove up to shower and use the potty. The campsites itself were pretty level, and park rangers patrolled the area quite frequently. The park is nice for the kiddos it looked newer. You could hardly dump everyone was there at once, and I’m not sure who put and or designed the dump stations on a hill, but it was not the move. Everyone is trying to back up and people were waiting. That was the 0/5… if I was just basing it off the dump station. 3/5 because of the bathroom situation… but other than that a nice peaceful couple of days. It was close to town just in case you forgot anything.

My boyfriend took me camping this weekend for my birthday - it was my first time here. The only problem I had was we showed up Friday afternoon, went to the porta-potty by our camp site and it was nasty!... the first one had a trash bag stuffed inside, with human waste building up to the top, and the second one was filled as well. The whole weekend we had to drive to the shower / bathroom building to use the bathroom. It's a hassle waking up around midnight and 3 AM, and as soon as we wake up to jump in the car and drive to the shower / bathroom building. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay. Campers usually come on the weekends - you would think the porta-potty would be cleaned Thursday, or Friday morning for the weekend. It was bad!

The campground was clean. The shower and restrooms were clean. You will need to fill your water tanks prior to parking your RV. We tried to make a reservation using 3 different credit cards, the staff could not get them to work. We had to send a friend over to reserve a site for us. We parked our RV on pretty level ground. I wonder if there will be plenty of open sites this summer if other people have trouble using their credit cards?

First time visiting. We absolutely loved this small campground. Spots range from absolutely wonderful to iffy for a camper or tent, so choose wisely. Bathhouse was decent, and I like that they had individual shower rooms instead of it just mixed in with the regular bathroom. The playground in the campground is super nice. A short drive within the park takes you to the visitor center, outside concession stand, playground, and boat rentals for the small lake. Fishing is in designated areas. We took a canoe trip late in the evening and saw loads of great blue herons, along with a couple green herons, sucks, raccoon, and deer. The bike path is nearly 8 miles and very nice. Several hiking trails--all the ones we hiked were nice. You will need to drive to most things as the park is large. We will most definitely be back!

It's $47/night before taxes for every site. This is a campground which only accommodates people with RVs as $47+/night for tent camping in Ohio is ridiculous. They don't offer any primitive site camping. Just RV camping. A real shame this place could benefit from tent camping sites with a more realistic price point. Doesn't even have flushing toilets. Like, I'm not gonna spend $50/night to be forced to tent camp next to some bus and then not even have a real toilet. It feels like a punishment to people who's definition of camping doesn't include a motorhome. Which is sad, because it's a beautiful park.

I have to start by saying this campground would be wonderful if you had a tent or a very Small pop-up. We have a 30 foot travel trailer and tried two different sites and we could not fit. The staff was very friendly and we were refunded our money. We had to go find another campground so please be aware that these are very small sites. Campground was built in 1976 it is difficult to maneuver with modern RVs. Also, the dump station is on a hill in the entrance and I can’t even imagine what that would be like if more than one person was in line

Some of the spots are a little tight or awkward for a camper..or unlevel, especially in comparison to the Google Map walkthrough. The ladies in the welcome center were helpful in accommodating us new RV campers. The coons are little cuttle troublemakers. Overall we will definitely be back. Makes for a quick trip into Cincy.

We were skeptical on our first night because it wasn't what we were used to or expecting. However, as the days went on and we interacted with the rangers and visitors center hosts, we came to really enjoy our stay. There are some struggles (the walk up hill to the bathhouse and the dump station on the opposite side), but these are merely inconveniences and not trip disruptions. All in all, we will be returning to Miami Whitewater for future camping trips.

This is by far the worst campground we’ve been to in our 20 years of camping. We had to check in at the visitor station, and the visitor station is not equipped for a 32 foot to behind camper to turn around in. It Upon check-in, they did not have maps or printouts of activities. The turned to enter the campground portion was extremely tight again. This was not built for campers. To say our site was on level would be an understatement! And it was loud. Very loud. In looking at the dump station on the way out, we are not sure how it could possibly work. It’s very tight, on a steep hill.
