Michigan Valley Campground at Pomona Lake is one of our absolute favorite places to camp as a family. From the moment you arrive, you can tell this campground is well managed, well maintained, and designed with campers in mind. The blacktop roads make it easy to get around whether you’re driving, biking, or taking a walk through the area. There are plenty of pull-through campsites, which makes setting up your RV or trailer a breeze. The campground is exceptionally clean, and the grounds are beautifully kept throughout the season. The bath house is modern, well maintained, and always spotless, which is something we really appreciate after a long day outdoors. One of the best parts about Michigan Valley is the easy access to the beach — perfect for swimming, fishing, or just relaxing by the water on a sunny afternoon. Beautiful view, VERY clean bathrooms, camp hosts are helpful but not meddling or nosy. Also, the spots are well maintained and it’s the nicest swim beach I’ve seen in a while.
