Don't know why so many terrible reviews. The staff was great, the room was clean and nice. Beds were comfortable. Everything worked. Well worth the price. I'd definitely stay again.
Beds are comfortable. Room is basic, which is what you would expect with Microtel. Breakfast is not good. Few choices. Again, basic. The worst is the coffee pot in the room, which has not been cleaned since the Eisenhower administration. When I poured the leftover water out of the machine, it was black with mold. Also, the shower bench in the bathroom (handicap room) has seen better days. Shower has little pressure and will not reach a person sitting on the bench. For over $300 for two nights, you'd think this would be better.
Disgusting. They changed the sheets at least. The bathroom was gross. Had mold in it. Looks like they never wiped anything down in the bathroom or room. Dust everywhere. My friends room smelled so bad. Just drive the extra miles to stay somewhere else.
Absolutely disgusting!! This appears to be a section 8 motel and that in itself makes me sick to think they can get away with making people live in this filth. We paid for two nights, non refundable and left after one night. We never would have stayed there even for one night after seeing the property but there were no other rooms available close by. The “hotel” staff were efficient and I found no fault with them. After checking in we took the elevator to the second floor , when the door open there was a young girl around 8 years old holding a pit bull. I love dogs and I know pit bulls get a bum wrap but I would expect someone would be holding the dog that could control it if need be. I reached out to Wyndham and they couldn’t have cared less. Having spent $360 for what turned out to be one nights stay all I can say is DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
I had to stay overnight for a morning meeting. The room is designed for maximum efficiency. Kudos to the designer! The room is small but even with a Q sized bed, desk, fridge (and microwave) and ample sized closet, it still feels spacious. Includes a book by the window. Everything is clean and in good working condition. Free WiFi is a good speed. Lady at the front desk was nice (so were the guests - everyone was ready with a good morning and/or a smile). I didn't check out any of the amenities - but there's a pool and the breakfast spread looked nice (the Folgers coffee tasted fresh; pretty sure they clean the machine regularly, which isn't the case at most similar class hotels I've stayed at). If you find yourself in the area, this should definitely be at the top of your list of places to stay.
