Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Woodland Park

I got caught in a snow storm at night on my way through town and had to stay for the night. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. It was a little pricey for a Thursday night in my opinion ($150) but I was stuck and had no other choice. The room was clean with plenty of fresh towels. The bed and bedding was clean and comfortable. Except for the person in the room next to me banging around in the evening and first thing in the morning, I slept very well. The room came equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, coffee, cups, an ice bucket, alarm clock, tv, wall desk/table and plenty of useful outlets. Breakfast was continental style with a waffle maker, an assortment of breakfast cereals, fresh fruit, juices, yogurt, breads and bagels, prepackaged oatmeal and of course coffee and tea. I received a text message in the morning regarding my stay. I was given the option of a late check out. I requested a late check out (12 noon) to make sure the roads were clear enough for me to continue my travels. I ended up checking out at 11:30. The morning desk clerk expressed concern for my safety driving in the snow and was even kind enough to come out and help me navigate the parking lot in the snow. Overall I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this location to anyone passing through and/or visiting the area on vacation. It is right off Hwy 24, close to the shopping center with a grocery store and a variety of restaurants and shops and there is a movie theater within walking distance.

We had a great stay! The staff was very accommodating, the rooms were clean, and the location was perfect for our trip! I like how we could utilize the sister hotel next door for the pool and hot tub. The view from our room was also very pretty. The breakfast was good, but limited to waffles, toast, yogurt, and cereal. This was just fine for us but I wanted to add that in here for others to take into consideration when booking!

Loved the customer service. We were on the 3rd floor and glad the elevator took us there rapidly! Nice quiet room with very comfy beds and hot shower made it a pleasant experience for me. Nice view of the mountains/nearby hotel. Walkable to dining at The Lodge which had a fun Saturday night of Singing at the bar. The price was good for our stay. Perfect location to seminars in the area. Ours was at Charis Bible College. No hesitation to return in the future.! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Our stay was due to a mandatory evacuation. It was fantastic, especially for the max capacity that it was during our stay because of the recent Highland Lake fires. The gentleman that worked in the morning and afternoon shift (with long dark hair) was attentive and ontopnof things when the continental breakfast began to dwindle. We got discounts for having a veteran in the family, plus Grandma's Tripple A insurance also subtracted to the total cost per night stay. And on the morning of checkout they were courteous enough to let us extend till noon at no extra cost! It's a 5 for me!

Great place but we had a room that about every hour something would go off and wake us up. Sounded like a wash machine out of balance the knocking was awful. Too exhausted to complain and move.
