Sites are close together but still feel private. We were able to fit 2 tents, a Canopy, and a small SUV. Our site butted up to a creek which had fish, turtles, and crawdads, we saw people kayaking in there. There are a few more secluded spots on the creek by they are further away from the bathroom. There aw electric hookups but ours was pretty far from the tent but we brought a 50 foot extension cable so it wasn't an issue. We really enjoyed our time here, we were close to all of the trails we wanted to hike and people respected quiet hours, it was a lovely time. No playground but kid was never bored.
The campground was really nice and quiet! However the bathrooms and showers were really dirty. They're probably fixing them up as they were putting a new roof on them when we were there. We tent camped and had a great experience overall! So much to do around here.
Very friendly and helpful campground manager. Super nice guy. Campground is very clean and facilities also very clean. Be sure to bring extensions for your electric and water lines as this is an older built site and hookups can be 50 ft plus away. This site is close to all the hiking destinations such as a natural bridge and the national forest. As well as Red River gorge.
Bathrooms are important told the main rv drain issue??told not working for that day weekend. Dead bugs were in the bathroom Mens Friday and Saturday and probably still there. Not been cleaned in a while. That's an issue must a smell too so much moisture... Understand covid and staffing issues,, Most everywhere,,, competitive pricing. We were visiting someone. Not able to use. there RV bathroom.. For that weekend.
Clean camp ground with clean bathrooms. The showers need updated and are a little moldy but its clean. The people working there are super friendly. There's a cool little creek that runs through it. Surprisingly no mosquitoes. The sites are close together. The entrance is easy to pass up it needs a better sign. All n all its ok
