Customer Reviews
I so wanted to give this a big wonderful review. But my experience can only lend a 2 at this time. Here are the pros and cons: Pros * Staff and owners were friendly and accommodating and attentive. * It was a beautiful location with a stream and the pond and beautiful views. Cons *Rusty Teflon pots and pans in the cabin we stayed in. This of course is a health hazard. In fact, the kitchen was not well equipped with cookware or utensils, something to keep in mind if wanting to cook a meal for your family. *Gas Grills were dirty and looked like a fire hazard. *It was hot! We stayed in mid-August and our cabin was so hot during the day and night. We had only one fan. This made for an uncomfortable weekend. *The mattresses were pretty old. Old as in sunk-in-the-middle old when you laid on them. This led to an already uncomfortable night’s sleep in the heat.
Stayed here for the weekend. The pizza was very good. The river and the small lake are cool features running through the property. The staff and owner are friendly and accommodating. This resort is clean and kept up. Prices are reasonable as well. Will definitely be back.
We stayed at the Middle Fork this weekend for a quick overnight stay. What a treat, they have full hook ups and the best pizzeria! If you come here it's a must you order the tasty pizza! Also the owner Bill was very flexible and extremely accommodating. Even greeted us upon arrival. Highly recommend, we'd like to try the cabins sometime. They have a cute fishing pond and are right next to a beautiful creek! Have fun!
Beautiful location with fishing on the premises and a river running through the property. Cabin was nice with 2 queen bedrooms, bathroom with shower, a small kitchen with a few necessities and a living room with 2 pullout sofa beds and satellite tv. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Nice place for a quick getaway for a couple or family, and reasonable prices comparable to hotels in the area which don't include as much as the cabins do. Would definitely stay here again.
Amazing place - The cabins are furnished well but not to the point that it's obtrusive, and the lake provides good fishing (I'm told). The scenery - well it speaks for itself. The ambiance, however, is where it earns the 5th star. It's so quiet that all you can hear at night is the gently rolling stream in the back, and so serene that deer walk right through the edges of the property in broad daylight. It's such a relaxing place, but also close enough to several other locations to serve as home base for exploration of the area. I'll definitely be back!
