Midway Campground is a place where I will return. The hosts were so kind and friendly. Also very helpful. There are no showers, but you can use the shower at the next Campground down the road (Monument Lake Campground). Which is another wonderful place to stay. 5 stars for sure. And 👍👍up. Great campground with good size sites. Very peaceful with beautiful night skies. Downside is no fault of the campground, there is very limited cell service. Perfect "midway" point to rest between Naples and Miami.
Campsites only! No cabins. Very little internet unless you bring your own. This is what we were looking for, and wanted in a quiet Christmas vacation. We loved the quiet and slow pace. The kids were able to ride bikes around the lake and enjoyed every second. Electric hook up only. Water tank fill and dump station.
Very cool, rustic campground in the Everglades. We've been here several times for a hit & run. Easily manuevered our 38ft class A & toad. Clean, nicely maintained. All back in sites, facing a large pond in the center, even comes with an alligator!
This is a super small limited campground located in an excellent place. If you like dark sky at night and a clean bathroom (no showers) this is a good three or four day spot.
