Very quiet and relaxing, I camped for several days and there were very few other campers. Well stocked trout stream and most campsites are next to. Close to Crater lake and other great hiking trails.
Nice and quiet! Most sites have the creek flowing right behind them. There is no cell service, and it is not great for Starlink for you digital nomads like me, but I was able to get online with short interruptions about every 15 to 30 mins. Check out the Mill Creek Falls while there! It's also a close and easy drive to Crater Lake!
About a mile to Mill Creek Campground on a gravel road. We are a 21-ft TT and didn't have any issues finding a site 🏕 the creek is great for fishing 🎣
Beautiful campground. They do NOT have water or electricity hookups. Outhouse bathrooms that were actually decent. Road on the way is full of potholes. We loved our time here and didn't miss any extras.
This is a beautiful little campground! Just past prospect ranger station on the right. The long dirt road leads to a picture perfect glacier creek with crystal clear water. Cross the bridge and you will see the entrance to the camp grounds. I believe its $15 a night to camp, the sites are huge and very clean and private. Most sites have the creek running by them. Picnik tables at each site and trash disposal sites. The bathrooms here are primitive. The old fashioned wood outhouse that feels like it's going to fall down when you shut the door. That was my one and only complaint was they need to update those bathrooms. The fishing is amazing here. Go down by the bridge and fish under either side. You can see all the stocked trout in the pristine water. If you go down the semi hidden path to the left of the bridge there is a private fishing spot that is the best one. The trees are all mature and shady, the place is gorgeous!!! We drive down to prospect and saw the Mill Creek waterfalls and then had dinner at Prospect Pizza Parlor. Seriously some of the best pizza I've ever had in my life. Great spot to camp with so much to do all around you. Enjoy!!!
