When I went, it was early evening, peaceful and serene. A couple of boats coming in, and a couple of locals in the bar. Just laid back chillin by the lake. Not to mention that lovely, mushroom tatted waitress. Forgot her name, but she is a wonderful server. Attentive, anticipating needs, suggesting items; while not being annoying with interruptions or unnecessary chatter. I will definitely introduce our work crews in the area to this place.
Enjoyed an overnight stay here. The room was clean and simple, great for the price point. There is a coffee maker but no cups for the coffee or any creamers, etc. that was a bit disappointing. We loved hanging by the tiki bar listening to music and dancing. My pup loved it as well, very pet friendly. We had lunch at the restaurant. The burger was perfect but the onion rings were not so good. Too greasy and just not tasty. Great place for a quick getaway. Everyone was friendly.
Took two hours to get our food. The place is not that big and it was crowded. The place was very loud. The food was good once you got it. Except for the onion rings. I'm not sure what it was, but they had a funny taste. Service was good. My guess is the cook, prepared one table at a time. Thus, the long wait.
V Update at bottom V The laundry room if incredibly over priced and good luck finding a machine that works properly. Why don't they fix the 2 broken machines or at least make the ones that are working preform better. There is always some body riding around or some group of people at their camper blaring music. I was also told the the WIFi was getting fixed. When, I don't know. Update: The, what i can only assume is the owner, lady from the front office kindly paid me a visit and we talked about my review. she informed me that she is doing everything in her power to get things right. She want everyone to be happy staying at her camp ground. she wasn't rude or disrespectful, actually rather nice. lets see what happens.
