Enjoyed all the fun of living in a van by the river: teaching little guy to swim, rock tossing, rope swings, wild critters, met cool peeps, cheap ($10/night)."

Nice place to hang for a few days. Quite a few other campers, some may be more of a permanent resident, but everyone kept to themselves. I was surprised to see a few portable toilets out there, even more surprised when I noticed there was even TP. However, to use their TP, you have to get there the first few days of the month. It appears they get cleaned at the end of each month.

This was a great van lifer campsite! Enjoyed all the fun of living in a van by the river: teaching little guy to swim, rock tossing, rope swings, wild critters, met cool peeps, cheap ($10/night). We met some fun Oregonians with their families who had said that the other two bars, Nook and Redwood become progressively more rowdy. "Which is fun and all, until you have to watchout for broken glass." Few downsides: unkept porta-potties, cloudy/foggy nights were bad for star-gazing. We parked at the western end, near the rope swings. There was an actual vault toilet on the eastern edge, near the end of the pavement which we hadn't noticed until the day we had left.

I remember I was here a long time ago back in 2018 and I was thinking about it just now because I had a dream of Miller Bar last night. It is so beautiful and you can swim in the river and see salamanders Thank you for the beautiful experience and memories over there (˶˃ᆺ˂˶)/⭐🎶

River was super clean and not too cold. Loved it Campsite was free, bathroom was a little dirtier than others. Fellow campers were decent but one guy was playing music until FOUR AM until I asked him to stop.

Beautiful drive there Cool place to camp Has a bit of a rough spot getting from the road on to the bar sometimes you get stuck in that gravel.
