It is a beautiful place, the water was real low. Our dog loved the waterfall and mucking around in the mud. As you are leaving the parking lot to leave the reservoir tgere is another hiking path and wow that one was stunning and a wonderful hike.
Awesome short hike around the lake. Beautiful spot
Pretty little lake with a trail all around. Pretty easy to drive to and loaded with trout. Not handicap accessible and you have to walk down to the lake maybe less than 100 yards from the parking area. There is a public restroom in the parking area.
I've fished here several times and usually catch at least two to three fish. If you want to have a good chance of catching fish, I would recommend this reservoir. The only negative was the fish we caught were not very large. It could have been the bait/lures we were using.
Fished million from the inlet and the dam sides. Both produced rainbow trout from 10" to 13". Minimal parking for the trail on the dam side. Trails go the entire perimeter of the lake, so parking at the top is usually a sure bet.
