Specific details on hookups (water, electric, sewer) are not universally available, but a family campground typically offers at least some level of utility hookups for RVs.
- Accessibility: The campground strives to be accessible and welcoming to all types of campers.
- Basic Facilities: Standard campground amenities such as restrooms and showers are typically expected at a family campground, though their specific features (e.g., hot water, accessibility) would need to be confirmed directly with the campground.

- Community Feel: As a family-operated establishment, there's an inherent promise of a welcoming and community-oriented atmosphere, often leading to personalized service from the owners.
- Pet-Friendly: Many family campgrounds are pet-friendly, allowing furry companions to join in the outdoor fun, though specific rules regarding leashing and waste disposal would apply. While not directly confirmed for Millis Family Campground, it's a common amenity in this category.

This includes opportunities for fishing in the local waterways, swimming, and simply enjoying the coastal breeze. The natural setting of the campground itself provides a space for relaxation and enjoying nature's sounds.

Customer Reviews
We really enjoyed our 2 years at Millis Campground and we really miss it so much. Unfortunately the owner would not enforce dog leash rules so dogs were allowed to run loose. I was attacked 2 times by dog who was after my little dog in my arms. One of the times I was on my porch when the dog came on porch growling with hair standing up on his back. The other time I was in my rocker in front of my camper and big dog jumped on me, his owner pulled him off me 3 times. The dog owner said he was not putting his dog on leash, he never has and never will. I had to sell our camper after that because I was afraid I was going to be hurt really bad. I couldn't enjoy going and being outside my camper with my dog, being afraid dogs would attack. We really miss the beautiful view of the New River though.
Quite, neighbors are friends like family. Enjoy the view of New River. Great connecting with Millis Ice and Shrimp house.my pet loves our daily walks while here, always an adventure.
