Camped here many times and poss the last after this past weekend. Very little DNR presence un less you are at gate getting pulled over seen it twice in one day! The sites were not maintained, weeds, grass over grown, golf carts running thru the campground, gas powered dirt bike running thru trails and thru campground for over 4hrs! Over a years time this place turned into a joke. Campers beware. Just to be clear it is not our job to turn folks in the DNR should of been on top of this and the property but failed on some many levels. Why charge full rates for a un maintained park!

The staff was friendly and overall a clean campground. We went during a semi rainy weekend and the camp was very muddy and lots of pooling puddles everywhere. Could not enjoy the yard area a long while after a mild rain. We and alot of other campers left real early.

Lady wouldnt even let us through to look for sites to get for our vacation come up. She wanted us to walk through the whole thing. Thought that was pretty stupid. I have a little one that is not going to walk through it like that and what about old people that come to visit or something and can't walk all the way through it so we just turned around and drive out so they won't be getting our money.
