Decent for what it is. Tent sites are small and are essentially right on top of one another. The campground is on a flight path, so be ready for non-stop commercial airplanes flying overhead. It's also very close to a major railway, so train noise is constant. Also, some of the staff are nice, but there is one woman who was running the front desk who was very rude when asked if I could move to another tent site (same cost, same area in the campground). When I went to my assigned campsite, I immediately realized that it would not accommodate my tent/sunshade, and there seemed to be numerous campsites available since I was there during the week. Rather than setting up, I drove around the campground to look at other potential sites. When I found one that would work (steps from my original one), I went back to the office to inquire about moving sites. She told me it was after 6pm (it was 6:02pm) and that she couldn't help me. I explained that it would be great to have a bit more space, to which she replied, "Oh, you're the one who's been driving around the campground," as if I'd been doing something wrong. Again, she insisted that she couldn't help me. However, another, much nicer staff member agreed to help, and with a few keystrokes on the computer and writing the new campsite number on my windshield tag, it was taken care of. Again, it's decent for what it is, but the rude staff, constant noise, and general location aren't worth the cost. True to form, as soon as this review is posted, the campground will respond and attempt to counter everything I've written, probably making me out to be the bad guy. YMMV. Book and stay at your own risk.

What a lovely KOA! This KOA has everything you could ask for, and the staff was so friendly! Restrooms and showers were immaculate. There are lots of details that make this a cut above. Nice fire rings at each site, wooden swings at patio sites... even a hairdryer provided in the ladies restroom. So nice! Thanks!

Top 5 nicest KOA’s we have stayed at even though the water is off for winter (they have a fill station) and the office is closed! Our site is phenominal—an extra long pull through with an extra large KOA Paw Pen that our Border Collies Love, AND an extra parking space for our run-about car. All for a very reasonable price! The trees are well trimmed and the grass is green and well kept throughout. Looks like this might be a very busy park with lots of activities during the season. We will definitely be back in the future!

Very nice KOA. A lot of room between RV sites, quite level sites, neat, and tidy. I saw someone complaining about it being ‘under the flight path’. I’m a pilot. If half a mile away is ‘under’ then I suspect the author was under the influence. It’s the approach to MSO so the planes are virtually gliding at this point - the kids in the pool make more noise. Easy access and the nearby mall (not near enough to be a bother) has several restaurants including a decent reasonably priced Thai place.

Nice and clean campground. I arrived in December, they had electricity and sewer connections available at the site and a frost free water spigot to fill up on water upon my arrival. Staff was friendly and helpful upon arriving.

Good place if you just looking for somewhere to stay. It was alright. The one big downside for me was location. Who puts a campground literally in the middle of town? Condos and Costco on each side of you. It was very clean though, and still infinitely better than a hotel. Bring your own bedding.

Clean and good service, but won't allow campervans to stay more than one night. Highly disappointing, and not fair since my rig has all the same amenities as an RV, and classifies by law as a Class B motorhome. Policy needs to change.

While working in Missoula we had the opportunity to visit KOA Holiday. It is a peaceful setting located away from the hustle and bustle of city life in Missoula. Quiet, well kept, clean park like atmosphere and friendly, accommodating staff. Highly recommend for your next camping - clamping adventure.
