Misty Willow's Farm and Camp Introduce
Welcome to Misty Willow's Farm and Camp, a unique destination within the Campgrounds & RV Parks category that offers more than just a typical camping experience. This establishment blends the tranquility of a campground with the charm and activities of a working farm, providing local users with a distinctive opportunity to connect with nature and agriculture.
Environment: Misty Willow's Farm and Camp is set in a natural environment that integrates with the farm landscape. Campers can expect scenic views of fields, possibly livestock, and the peaceful ambiance of a rural setting. The environment is likely to offer a blend of open spaces and natural features like trees or a creek, fostering a relaxing and engaging atmosphere that differs from traditional campgrounds.
Services: As a Campgrounds & RV Parks facility with a farm component, Misty Willow's likely offers standard camping services such as designated campsites for tents and possibly RVs (it's advisable to inquire about hookup availability and site sizes). Additionally, the "farm" aspect suggests unique services might be available, such as opportunities to interact with farm animals, learn about agricultural practices, or purchase fresh farm produce directly. Depending on the setup, they might also offer amenities like picnic areas, fire pits, and restroom facilities. The combination of camping amenities with farm-related activities sets it apart.
Features: The standout feature of Misty Willow's Farm and Camp is the integration of a camping experience with a working farm. This offers guests the unique opportunity to observe or participate in farm activities (depending on availability), learn about where food comes from, and enjoy a more interactive stay. Other potential features could include farm tours, seasonal events related to agriculture (like harvest festivals), and the availability of fresh, locally sourced products for purchase. The blend of a natural campground setting with the educational and engaging aspects of a farm provides a distinctive experience for families and individuals seeking something beyond traditional camping.
Promotional Information: Misty Willow's Farm and Camp is an excellent choice for local users looking for a unique getaway that combines the outdoors with an agricultural experience. Customer Reviews
If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. Our hosts Willow and Charlie are the kindest souls with amazing stories and adventures. I could listen to Willow talk all day! They have an amazing story. About a week before our arrival, Willow texted me all the weather details and some spots we should check out while we were in the area. We stayed at a campsite on Hummingbird Lane (which every site has it's own story on it's name and significance). Everything Willow and Charlie do for their guests is done with love and intention. It's hard to capture who they are in a Google review but they radiate love, friendliness and hospitality. They are passionate about what they do and were seriously the best hosts ever. Our campsite was private and very comfortable. Provided by Willow and Charlie, our campsite had a few gallons of fresh water that was drinkable, matches, fire starter, firewood, and had a grate to cook our food over the fire included. Our campsite also had a pop-up tent with a toilet and toilet paper that they would clean, all to ourselves (seriously, what a treat since our other campsites along our roadtrip were just holes in the ground!) I can't recommend Misty Willow's enough. If you stay here (and you DEFINITELY should), you will see exactly what I mean in this review. We will be back on our next WA adventure!
It was our first time there and we got lucky to secure last spot. Both Willow and Charlie are AMAZING hosts, not only the campground was super clean and well maintained, the private pod was very clean as well. Willow is thoughtful enough to provide two tiki torches with citronella oil as natural mosquito repellent, also with a box of campfire wood! They are so welcoming and friendly, location is quiet and tucked away, with that being said, there’s no reception at the campsite, so make sure you download offline map beforehand. We will definitely come back and stay longer!
I've had a chance to stay at Misty Willow's Farm and Camp twice -- both in moment's when I needed a break from the world to center myself. Misty Willow's is extraordinarily beautiful -- with the nature carefully sculpted by those who sustain the camp. Every campsite is its own little universe. The facilities -- composting toilets, tents available for use -- are all very well maintained, and you are in for a wonderful few days if you decide to stay here. It is also located near many of the sites in the Olympic National Park, so it is convenient location if you are planning a larger trip and only want to stay one night.
Misty Willow’s Farm and Camp is one of the most unique, and special campgrounds in the country. It’s not hyperbole if it’s true, and I’m not getting paid to say this. Willow and Charlie are kind, gracious, and loving hosts. They love animals. And they are good listeners that go out of their way to make their guests feel welcomed and at home. The campground is nestled in a temperate rainforest on the edge of Olympic National Park. It’s conveniently located near Forks, Cape Flattery Lighthouse, Sekiu, Clallam Bay, Cresent Lake, Port Angeles, Seattle, Victoria Island, Victoria, and Vancouver. You can go whale watching (from ship or shore), birdwatching, fishing, hiking, biking, kayaking, beach combing, and the list goes on. The campground is seasonal, so check the schedule. Willow and Charlie want to keep the price below average, making it worth every penny.
Willow and Charlie are wonderful people and the camp sites are awesome! You truly feel like you are camping in a nature sanctuary and it's so relaxing to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. They were having some issues with their website but said that it would be resolved soon. We called instead and they were more than happy to book us that way and everything worked out wonderfully! I will definitely be coming again!
