Got here late in the day but still in time to see a glorious sunset view from the boat ramp. Two retired ladies were fishing there, having a fun time. We boondocked in a spot close by. There were several other car and small van campers. We didn't get a chance to explore, so not sure of the other areas, but the view from the boat ramp is beautiful.

Terrific camping area! Lots of flat space and beautiful sunsets! We picked a cute spot in the trees but most out in open areas. Some with view of the lake. Easy access for small boat or kayak into lake too. Plus a nice dock to watch sunset and listen to the multitude of birds from.

Lots of people camped around, but very clean. Nice lake and beautiful wetland views. A ton of wildlife around, but more heard than seen. Gnats are thick during the day, and mosquitoes are vicious in the evening. Dust may be a problem, but the wind was in my favor. Road to it from the north is a bit rough.

Awesome free camping, alot of sites for the most part as you can see, alot of them are smaller but bigger ones near the center. Not very level anywhere so bring blocks. Clean river to fish on or use water for personal use. Dry camping. no hookups or dump of course. No trash cans either but it is pretty clean so please keep it that way! Thanks

Winding down our first night here. RV on the hard pack and car and tent down in the trees (watch out for soft sand so you don't get stuck). Boat launch and dock to enjoy a beautiful sunset over the lake, with birds galore. Windy all day and dusty, but the winds calm in the evening for a fire or a walk in the moonlight, listening to the coyotes yipping. Stars out my window are stunning and it's silent. Beautiful spot. Mosquitoes are just hatching, I imagine they get pretty bad here.
