A sort of hidden entrance though it is marked this is a well kept river access point that sees heavy use by rafters and fishermen in the summer tourist seasons. It has a single, unisex vault toilet and no other frills like picinic tables or playground equipment. It's located right next to railroad/Amtrak right of way with the train bridge passing over a part of it. Also has expanded car and truck with trailer parking on top near the entrance. Time to stay is limited to 20 minutes but not enforced if not busy. Common courtesy applies.
Easy access to the river, plenty of parking and a restroom make this a great access site for whatever river adventure you have planned.
Clean with a nose friendly pit toilet. Easy river access and a fun place to train spot. Try standing under the 8' tall train trestle while a freight passes overhead, it's thrilling!
We camped here, by the tracks. Although that was a terrible idea due to the trains waking us up every hour this is hands down one of the best trainspotting sots for you nerdy railfanners out there hell yeah!
This isn't a campground but it's the closest put in for the whitewater canyon, good access point
