My wife and I really enjoyed this campground. Short 10 min walk to the rim with breathtaking views, close to multiple lakes to go swimming/boating/fishing and friendly hosts. Only cons - one bathroom for 40ish sites. It was very quiet in the campground when we were there but if it was full, it might be an issue. Also, pretty close to the road. Woke up at 645a one day to construction semis using J brakes, but I suppose that is temporary. All in all, we would love to visit this campground again.
Great camping! Got some extreme hail but only for an hour. The rest of the weekend was great. Highly recommend. The host was a sweetheart and kept the camp sites well maintained!
Don't know if I necessarily went to this campground, but right there in the area. Found a great overnight camp spot right on the edge of the rim. Amazing!
25$ a night totally worth it. Nice little campground. Only issue is some campsites are near the road and there is traffic during late hours which might be bit disturbing. Good for stargazing.
Excellent camp ground, $18 a night, and you get a picnic table, fire pit, and access to bathroom (porta potty toilet style) and water. The host is very nice, the place is price reasonable. My children and I go here every year.
