The campground was great! We camped on the rivers edge, beautiful. The owner, was gruff, not very social but the place is beautiful. Clean bathrooms and showers are but very basic.

The only good think about this campground is the fact that it is along the Deerfield River! I thought this was a great campground but is the most unprofessional campground I have been to. No online booking system. Instead you have to call to request a site; which is fine expect the owners play favorites and choose who gets the best sites. My friend tried getting sites and called to reserve the sites we liked most. This was at the start of the year (8 months before the reservation. Later we realized the sites were never confirmed for us and were all filled by "families that had been coming for decades." The owners play favorites and are just rude with how they come across sometimes. The sites are also expensive and only allow one tent per site. Will not be coming back here again!

Awesome campground with waterfront sites on the Deerfield River! Other than waterfront sites (because of environmental laws/concerns) all sites have full hookups. They also have fire rings to use. River is cool and can be tubed or rafted. I have done both by entering further up river and then lazily drifting until I reach the campground. Family friendly and just plain friendly place. Tent camping also available on waterfront. Incredible experience. Full super clean bathhouse available as well. Owner is a great guy, very involved and although I have not ever seen any issues, I know would be quick to resolve them.

I rarely give five star reviews but my experience this weekend certainly deserves one. The owner went above and beyond to help my husband out. This is our fifth summer coming to Mohawk Park. We know exactly what to expect and enjoy our weekend every year. This is our first camping trip with our new camper and we ran into some electrical issues. The owner, who I believe is named Paul, came over and did everything he could to help us resolve the issue when the dealer that we bought it from couldn’t even be bothered to call my husband back. I can’t thank him enough for trying to help, he certainly didn’t have to do that! We will be back again next year!!

Right along route 2 at a prime riverside location in the outskirts of Charlemont. The campground is pretty cramped, roadside, and not very natural; not ideal for tenters, seems primarily geared towards renters and RVers. The restaurant hours are limited seasonally.
