Mohr's Roadside RV Park, located in Milton, West Virginia, is a functional and practical offering within the "Campgrounds & RV Parks" category, specifically designed to cater to the needs of recreational vehicle travelers. Its designation as a "roadside" RV park immediately communicates its primary value proposition: easy accessibility and essential services for those on the go. Unlike sprawling resort campgrounds with extensive amenities, Mohr's Roadside RV Park focuses on providing a clean, convenient, and reliable place for RVers to stop, rest, and recharge.
The environment at Mohr's Roadside RV Park is characterized by its straightforward and utilitarian layout, optimized for RV convenience. Situated a short distance from a major interstate (e.g., approximately 0.8 miles from Exit 28 of I-64 in West Virginia), it offers quick and easy ingress and egress, which is crucial for travelers. The sites are generally level and designed to accommodate various RV sizes, ensuring a smooth parking experience. While it may not be set amidst vast natural landscapes, the environment is kept tidy and well-maintained, contributing to a pleasant and hassle-free stay. There are likely some open areas and perhaps a degree of natural foliage, but the primary focus is on functionality rather than immersive wilderness. The overall ambiance is typically quiet, especially considering its proximity to a roadway, providing a peaceful respite for weary travelers. This environment is less about extended outdoor recreation and more about practical comfort and accessibility, making it an ideal overnight stop within the "Campgrounds & RV Parks" framework.
For RVers, the environment is designed to minimize complexity. This means clear signage, easily navigable internal roads, and straightforward site layouts. The emphasis is on a clean, safe, and efficient space that allows guests to get their RVs set up quickly and comfortably, whether for a few hours or an overnight stay. The simplicity of the environment ensures that visitors can easily manage their vehicle and belongings without unnecessary distractions or challenges.
The services offered at Mohr's Roadside RV Park are tailored to meet the fundamental requirements of RV travel, aligning perfectly with the core services expected in the "Campgrounds & RV Parks" category for transient guests. The park primarily provides RV sites with essential hookups. While specific details on the number of sites are not always broadly publicized, it's understood that it offers full hookups, which typically include both 30-amp and 50-amp electrical service, water connections, and sewer hookups. This comprehensive utility provision allows RVers to fully utilize their onboard facilities without needing to rely on external resources for basic needs.
Beyond the site-specific hookups, the park is known for providing clean and well-maintained restrooms. This is a critical service for any campground, as it significantly enhances the comfort and convenience for all campers. While specific details on additional services like laundry facilities or a general store are not widely detailed, the core offering revolves around reliable utilities and sanitary facilities. The park operates year-round, which is a valuable service for travelers, ensuring a consistent place to stop regardless of the season. The management and staff are typically focused on maintaining the property and providing straightforward assistance, ensuring a smooth and uncomplicated experience for guests. This direct and efficient approach to service is a key aspect of its operation as a roadside RV park within the "Campgrounds & RV Parks" sector.
The features of Mohr's Roadside RV Park are centered on utility and convenience for RV owners. The most prominent feature is the availability of full hookup RV sites, accommodating various power needs (30-amp and 50-amp). This is a non-negotiable feature for many RVers, making the park a desirable option for a quick stop. The sites are designed to be "pull-thru" in some instances, facilitating easy parking and departure for larger vehicles. The ability to accommodate pets is another important feature, making it a welcoming stop for those traveling with their furry companions. This pet-friendly policy is a common and appreciated feature in the "Campgrounds & RV Parks" industry, as it allows a broader range of travelers to utilize the facilities.
While a "playground" might be listed as a facility, suggesting some family-friendly elements, the primary features of a roadside RV park typically lean towards practicality. The focus is on providing a safe and reliable place to park an RV, connect to utilities, and access clean restrooms. The 24/7 accessibility for registered guests, once checked in, is also a valuable feature for those arriving at off-hours. The simplicity of the park's features means that guests can expect a no-frills but entirely functional stay, perfect for those whose priority is a convenient layover rather than a destination with extensive recreational amenities.
Promotional information for Mohr's Roadside RV Park is generally direct and highlights its core strengths. Advertisements or listings would emphasize its prime location just off the interstate, making it an ideal "roadside" stop for travelers. The availability of "full hookups" and "pet-friendly" policies are key selling points that are consistently highlighted. Information regarding its year-round operation is also important for seasonal travelers. While specific rates are usually confirmed upon inquiry or booking, the pricing is generally positioned to be competitive for an overnight or short-term RV stay. The promotional message would focus on the ease and convenience of the park, appealing to travelers looking for a hassle-free experience. Rather than elaborate activities or scenic views, the promotion would highlight the reliable utilities, clean facilities, and accessible location as its primary benefits. For instance, it might be advertised as "Your convenient stop on I-64 for full hookup RV sites." The simplicity of its name and its clear function as a "roadside" park mean that its promotional efforts are direct and informative, appealing to the specific needs of the RV travel community within the broader "Campgrounds & RV Parks" category.

Customer Reviews
Exactly What the Name Says! This is a small lot next to a tire business that has a few full-hookup sites for travelers. Very easy access to Interstate 64, gas and groceries. Lot was relatively level with good water pressure and solid power. There’s no pool, shade, bath house, but if you want a spot for the night, it’s great. Paid $40 cash for the night. Check out the Blenko Glass Factory if you have a couple of hours.
Great overnight stop location off I-64 with full hook-up. No frills, just essential basics with nearby stores & restaurants. Owner, Doug, was very friendly & assisted with backing rig in.
Nothing fancy but great people. Little noisy because of the busy road it’s on but super convenient if you just need full hookups and a place to stay.
Close to 64. Great little place for the night.
Very friendly place! Loved it!
