Services Offered

Monroe Co. / Toledo North KOA Holiday offers a wide array of services and accommodation types to cater to diverse camping preferences. It's important to note that while many amenities are excellent, some are undergoing improvements as part of the campground's development:

  • RV Sites: A variety of RV sites are available, including pull-through and back-in options, with full hookups (30 and 50 amp electric, water, sewer) to accommodate rigs up to 65 feet. Shaded sites are also offered.
  • Tent Camping: Grassy, shaded tent sites are available, typically located near central activity areas. (Note: As of 2025, rustic camping may no longer be offered.)
  • Cabin Rentals:
    • Camping Cabins: These offer a rustic escape, providing basic shelter.
    • Deluxe Cabins: These come with more amenities, including full kitchens and bathrooms. Various sizes are available, sleeping from 4 up to 14 people (e.g., The Loft cabin). Pets must be kept on a leash (no longer than 6 feet) when outside the owner's vehicle/rental unit and should not be left unattended. A nightly pet fee is charged, varying by site/cabin type. Our overall camping experience was fine however there are some improvements that need to be made to the campground. The women’s bathrooms were clean, however they smelled like a swamp. The campground well is not working and they are running off of a tank which is refilled every few days or more often dependent on occupancy. The first time this happened we lost water pressure completely and were only told after my husband asked one of the employees. The next day we did get a text about 15 minutes after they started filling. Upon checkout it was being filled again and the water truck was completely blocking the road and we had to wait nearly a half hour to leave. This being said, there are upgrades in process and the campground does have potential to be great in the next year or two. It would have been nice to know the water issue up front so I would suggest communication improve so that campers can plan accordingly.

bed bugs in cabin!!! Do not recommend !!! I have camped here for years with tent camping only: skipped last yr due to construction, thought we would try a cabin this year and got attacked by bed bugs.. management tried his best to help us and accommodate us. But instead of having a relaxing weekend we ended up being stressed out and living out of garbage bags due to throwing away all bags, pillows and blankets. I want to spread the word because I do believe that the cabin I was in was infested and I do not believe they are doing anything to fix the problem.. Here is a picture of my arm after day 2. I did get a few bites the first night but I have never dealt with bed bugs before and thought there misquotes or something else in there. After the second night I woke up in tears…

Called to reserve a campsite for a month on Tuesday 5/13. Young lady told me that they had a couple of sites open and that I would be able to utilize the monthly rate and save a significant amount of money but that she could not reserve it as the Manager deals with all long term rentals. She took my number and said he would contact me when he returned on Thursday 5/15. I received no call so to follow up, I called on Friday 5/16. A different lady answered the phone and I explained that I had not yet received a call to reserve the long term site but the manager had not returned my call. This lady proceeded to tell me that they were no longer taking long term rentals and that I would have to pay the daily rate of $86/night. I explained again that I had just spoken to a young lady 3 days prior and I was given different information and that this was very aggravating for the rule to change all of a sudden. She quickly stated that she would have the manager return my call to discuss further taking my name and number. I have still not received a call.

Pretty nice place lots of things for children a quarter of a section is under construction. We tent camp and it was very quiet at night park. 10.00 a night per pet fee is the other thing keeping us from coming back.

We recently bought a camper and this campground is close enough to our home that we can make weekend trips without having to worry about taking time off work. They are doing some major upgrades at the time and not very busy.
