Montauk California Resort

This place is a hidden GEM!!! Living in sacramento area it was the best place to get away, without going far at all! We we lucky to visit in spring where we got to see wild flowers and take a dip in the water, just a short walk away. The tenets were super comfy and I slept like a baby. Having all the utensils and grill was awesome because we made the best meals—love this place, highly recommend!♥️

I spent two days with 3 friends and it was great. It’s very secluded and private. You couldn’t see anyone from our site. The road is dirt, but it’s easy enough and if you go slow, a sedan will make it. The tents are very nice and the beds are super comfy! The owners are very nice and extremely responsive should you need anything. Will be back!

Enjoy Folsom Lake without the crowds. Montauk provides an opportunity to easily get out and enjoy nature. The tent we stayed in was beautifully furnished with attention to detail and comfort. The site is very private with lots of rock outcroppings and a view of the lake from the porch. We came to see a meteor shower and watched from the open area at the private beach. A huge swath of sky makes a great viewing area. The bed and bed linens are remarkably comfortable. The owners are justifiably proud of the place they’ve built with love and care and are responsive to guest input.

Thoroughly impressed by this glamping experience, where nature can be enjoyed, but you're also taken care of with ease in cooking, hygiene, and comfort. Focus even more on the black butterflies that grace the area, the incredible views from the elevated site as well as all the little perks like private running water, several thoughtful additions to your sturdy tent, and a getaway that's not to far away! Take your kids, ours loved it!!

Coolest getaway spot! Everything was very clean, well stocked and private. The views were amazing and they even had some really fun games! We had a great time and even our pup loved being in nature. We will definitely be back!
